Ammonia based can attack the copper on the PCB.
Other issue to take care is the UL - flame retardant issue.
The material must be controlled to its UL class.

A lot of peelable masks can be ammonia based and I think would be
detrimental. Would you consider a washable mask? Or better handling
instructions/processes to eliminate the tacking completely?
