Marie:
                Is it conductive?  If it is, it would cause shorts if left
on. If it is not, does it stay on well secured? If it does not, it may
become unwanted loose debris. If it is not conductive and stays secured, the
next step is to ask the customer if he has any problems with it staying on.
You may even list it on the BOM.
