Hi Luc, and IPC LF Listservers,

Thanks for the comment on What is behind the .1% or 1000ppm by weight

From my reading mostly of JEITA documents, Joints By Design should
be 100% Lead Free and then each interest or industry group is discussing
what this means scientifically or practically so they can create
adequate controls.

As a PCB/PWB or PWA process control, and then also as a final inspection
control the industry will still need to create cost effective monitoring
tools or techniques that give a compliance comfort level. By Design
we all know is not enough. So we need something simple.
