Roger, I had success titrating a saponifier solution and controlling
concentration with the results. Cost was about 80$ for a burette, whatever
a magnetic stirrer cost, and a few dollars worth of dilute hydrochloric acid
and indicator. It also took some time to make a table of pH vs.
concentration, since the manufacturer of the saponifier did not have one.
