Folks, to force Microsoft Outlook into generating "text" only email, you
have to be very deliberate about it.  And Microsoft isn't very helpful
about it.  

Go to the "Tools" menu at the top and select "Options" at the very
bottom of the menu.  From there, select the "Mail Format" tab.  From
there you will need to change the defaults by selecting the drop down
"arrow" next to "Compose in this message format" and selecting "Plain
Text".

Of course, Outlook will still make your email "Rich Text" if replying to
an email sent in "Rich Text".  Unless someone knows how to automatically
override that?....
