Tetrahydrofuran (stabilized) in a well ventilated area also works well to
remove polyurethane conformal coatings after drying but before full cure. (1
to 5 days).  Be careful with age and oxidation of THF or it can become
explosive like ethers.  For acrylics, the solvent used to thin the coating
material (or just about any solvent) will do the trick.  Ketones work best
and longer chain ketones like MEK or methyl isobutyl ketone may be less
agressive on the substrate or markings.  They're also a little less
volatile.
