By definition, a solvent that removes a coating is aggressive. There are
many polymers used in printed circuit assemblies that may be attacked by
it (including its vapours), including untreated parts of the coating
that may swell slightly, weakening its structure. No one can answer
whether it is deleterious to your assemblies, except yourself, and that
only after minute qualification tests. I would place samples of every
polymer on your assemblies in an acetone bath and in a vapour zone above
acetone for, say, an hour and examine each sample under magnification
for any sign of attack, swelling or stress cracking and again after
repose in air for a couple of weeks. Absorption can be determined by
weighing each sample before and after immersion and superficial drying
in air for a few minutes (no forced drying).

Hope this helps.
