I have a similar question. Not black pad rework but rework on SMT
pads (actually the entire PCB exposed surface) which were coated with
White Tin. I can't seem to get the tin stripped to recoat it with tin. The
PCB's are almost 1 yr old and I'd like to recoat with fresh tin. I did this
successfully with a number of different part numbers. But I have this
one set of boards that I can't get it back to a clean bare copper
surface. Does anybody have suggestions? More ggressive
microetching didn't work.
