Hi Grant,

We've been using the Ersascope successfully for two years now.
The optics/mechanics of the system are robust, and the software
works reasonably well - this has probably been updated by now.

It's essential to amend your DFM guidelines to ensure that sufficient space
is allowed between any BGA requiring inspection, and the surrounding
components.
Otherwise, it can get a little frustrating trying to drive around small chip
resistors, let
alone larger devices...
