Hello again fellow techies,
We are struggling to come up with the best no nonsense solution to a
rather mundane problem. During our recent AS9100 audit, a recommendation
for improvement was made regarding how we track the information associated
with the bake process for specific batches of product. As a solution, we
added a place on the process travelers for the operators to record "time
in", "time out", and "actual temp", for a specific operation. However,
there are instances where something may need baking several times within
the same operation (up to as many as 10-20 times). First, is there an
obligation to record this data every single time the article is submitted
to a bake process? Second, what other methods are there for capturing this
information (log?), and exactly what information would be critical? And
third, what would the best approach be to implement the change for the
thousands of legacy documents which already exist?
What are some of the ways your capturing this information?

      Thanks.
