As a correction, Parylene is not a self limiting process and will continue
to deposit material until the Dimer source is exhausted or the process time
ends. Thickness is controlled by process time and Dimer volume. A typical
thickness is 1 mil +/- 1/2mil and is effective against salt fog.

As far as I am aware the Paralene process is self limiting and stops at a
monolayer of molecules.
SCS would tell you exactly what goes on.

Objet : [TN] Salt fog testing and paralyne
Does anyone have literature or real life testing on the performance of
paralyne under a salt fog test? What thickness was required to pass salt
fog testing? Was the cca directly exposed or was it inside a box/device?
