Steve, what I did in a previous life was to create an engineering log book
for prototypes that was called out in our ISO procedures. We used this
book to allow us to make very generic travelers and as we found problems
and or issues during the prototype run we would write them down in this
book to help us remember the issues later. You know how a mind seems to
forget things a day or two later. This helped in the ISO issues and
helped us remember.

just curious...how do you deal with ISO and prototypes? Do you do
full-blown work instructions? Try to run things through normal production
processes, so that you have traceability? Or do you you treat it as it is,
a prototype?

Going through some stuff here...thinking that we put more stuff into
prototypes than we need to...just curious what everybody else does...I have
my past experience, but that's not good enough.

Like to hear from everybody else...
