Hi Scott - Tyco Electronics has completed some studies on surface finishes
and compliant pins which may be of interest in your investigations/testing.

I have been thinking of trying out Immersion silver on one of our existing
boards and had a few questions. My under standing is that not all
immersion silver is created equal at all the board shops. The board I was
going to try it on also uses compliant connectors. I read an article that
said, immersion silver could be a problem if you use compliant connectors.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
