Robert,
Extra UV may or may not be a good thing.  Extra UV could cause damage to
the coating (particularly, your acrylic components in the coating).
Just like your pastic chair sitting on the deck, it would yellow and
become brittle.  In addition, you may change the surface characteristic
as well, for example, if you got extra oxygen at surface, you may
preferentially attract the polymeric material and push the metal or
in-organic filler away from the interface... Not something you want oto
find it out later....Be careful what you wish for....
