Hi Genny,
For reflow soldering, what we have found necessary is to raise the peak
reflow temperature by 15 to 20C when soldering to Ni. I am not aware of any testing
for hand soldering on this issue, but would think that delta-T would work
also--alternatively a somewhat lower T and longer iron contact time should work
as well.
