Paul,
There are several techniques provisioned in IPC-A-620 "Wire Cable and
Harness Assemblies" with Acceptance criteria
These Include: Mesh, Wrap , Hook and , Lap.
There's also crimped splice content.

Does anyone know of any specification for attaching two stranded wires
together. We are limited in thickness as to what we can use.



Is it OK to twist, hook and solder the two ends?
