I tried posting this on Friday and received no answers. I'll try rephrasing in hope that somebody has run into this situation before.

Our company has received switches with a different termination from what we are accostomed to receiving. These switches have holes in a flat tab rather than a 'T' shaped termination. We are trying to determine how many wires can pass through the hole. Is there a maximum percent of fill? Is the recommended attachment method to twist and tin the wires before attaching to the switch? Are there any standards that cover this situation?

Any guidance is appreciated.
