First the back ground;
I have a bunch of Rf shields in inventory, actually they have been in
inventory for a longgggggg time. These parts were stamped out of brass, 360
I think, then tin plated. The solderability of these parts leaves something
to be desired, not impossible but a pain in the neck. I potentially have a
big contract coming up.
The question;
Is there any way to re-plate or otherwise re-work these parts to restore the
finish/solderability? Or should I just plan on ordering new material (in 770
nickel silver this time).
Thanks,
Dan
