Hello,

I have been asked to do research on the following subject. At this moment
we are still wave soldering and reflow soldering with sn/pb. I would like
to know what could happen with the solder reliability when we get one
component on a board that is lead free while all the other components and
the PCB are sn/pb and we are going to solder the board with sn/pb using a
solder profile for sn/pb. Is the reliability of the solderjoint an issue?
Can anybody tell me were I can find any articles or research on this
subject, I wasn't able to find much on this specific issue.
Any help is appreciated.

Kind regards,

H. Molema
