Hi Kathy,
We use bulk desiccant (not in bags) in a cartridge to dry air going into our
photoplotter. We bake the desiccant every 2 days for 45 minutes at 200
deg./F in a 9x12 glass baking dish. The desiccant lasts 6 months to a year,
at which time the crystals take on a yellow tint & the blue "dry indicator"
crystals no longer turn blue.
Regards,
Mark

Subject: [TN] Desicant
Can desiccant bags be baked or microwaved to remove the accumulated
moisture? I used to know of a recipe to microwave desiccant bags to drive
the moisture off but can't remember what it was. Although it has been some
years now so I wonder if it is still possible.
TIA
Kat
