I once posed a similar question (except I also wanted to know the area as well), and found my stencil supplier was able to give me a text file with count opportunities by component type (as well as the associated areas).

To all you SPC gurus (especially Werner),
I have just finished digesting IPC-7912 and IPC 9261 (yes...I have terrible Indigestion now!).

Can anyone tell me a couple of ways to count SMT termination opportunities.
We do have Unicam and various Gerbviewers, but, are not sure HOW to access the SMT termination 
opportunity data using those tools.  Any help would be great!

Also,
Any established DPMO standards/goals for SMT, Wave, TH machine and TH assembly areas?
AND...What are most of you reporting to your customers?  DPMO Index or Process DPMO's?
