A casual observation over time; we're all vigilant about advertising on
this forum and should be. However, when I post a question and one of the
responses happens to be from a supplier of exactly the services I seek, I'm
delighted. After all, if you were running for public office, wouldn't you
vote for yourself? A technique I've learned is to write my response to
something, but not send it for an hour or so. It's amazing how often I've
said "Whew!" to myself after an hour has passed. For what it's worth, if a
supplier responds directly, I suggest they do it off line so it doesn't seem
like advertising. Even so, the most important thing, and the reason this
forum exists, is that a solution is provided to the requestor.

You are correct Geoff. A quick check of the archives indeed shows Mr.
Ranganath as a contributor of helpful information to this forum. I don't
understand what is going on with this forum lately with people being jumped
on for no apparent reason. It really is time to chill and just get back to
work.
