Same questions I asked month ago (04-27-2003) relating to spare parts /
populated PCBS.
I didn't find any std.
Sensitive components: Active components, Elect. caps, crystals, solder
joints, fine pitch packages.
Recommended packages: positive pressure of dry Nitrogen, Vacuum dry package
with desiccant.
Every 1 -3 years its recommended to operate / Inspect it and repack.

Best Regards

Hello all

What is important for the storage of populated PCBA's?
Are electrolytic caps the only critical parts?
How often have they to be loaded?
Are there any standards dealing with this topic (storage of populated
PCBA)?
Which are the critical components?

best regards

Siggi
