Being a Biologist in the electronic industry it is rare that I get to
contribute but in this case I can.

The correct term is "Foot and Mouth Disease" (FMD) which is an acute viral
infection that affects hoofed animals.

What humans get is "foot in mouth" disease which chronic condition; at least
in my case.
