Personally, I think clear is better as well... Sometimes with color masks,
green, red, blue, etc...the slightest imperfection is magnified, with the
clear mask, these type imperfections are not visible so when something is
observed there is no question about the condition and whether it is
acceptable or not...

We do about 2 jobs per year with clear mask...
