Systems under warranty will continue to be supported by photondynamics
until the warranty expires. For individuals who have systems that are out
of warranty, a group of engineers started their own company
(www.aoi-services.com) to provide technical support for the photondynamics
and CRTech systems.

Photon Dynamics has exited the AOI arena; but they claim to still support
all warranty customers and provide service and spares to all customers
until
2004.

If this is rhetoric and not practice please elaborate.
The forum needs facts beyond the press release.
