I am not sure whether or not I am being too pedantic but the slow creep of text-speak onto forums such as this has me a bit concerned.
Whilst I realise that text-speak is useful when using the limited keyboard of a mobile phone I do not see the need for it in standard communications except for posturing purposes.
We are professionals dealing with technical subjects so I would prefer unambiguous messages.
Have I turned into an old fuddy-duddy or does anybody else feel the same?
Regards
Eric Dawson
