No long money in Fab unless its specialized and even then you get beat to
death on pricing. (IMHO) Off shore Fab is usually cheaper. (Any brokers out
there!)   Local-regional accessibility is the only leverage you have left as
a Fab house. Service is where the cash is in this industry, and assembly is
all service. Good assembly is worth alot of money too.  I would expect the
trend to continue, fewer fab houses, wherever a fab house has no service
devisions to support it, unless demand changes dramatically away from price,
in deference to local shops
