My second problem of the day:

Does anyone have any information of any kind - specs, data sheets,
experimental results, recommendations - on masking materials that are
resistant to Conformal Coating Stripping Agents. General information may
do, but I'm particularly interest in masking for Humiseal's 1080, used for
stripping their 1B31 Acrylic coating. We have coated boards needing mods
and repairs with subsequent ICT (In-Circuit Testing this time, not Ionic
Cleanliness Testing) prior to re-coating. I want to be able to mask off
(internal and external) connector contacts and the likes to stop them
becoming contaminated with stripped coating and stripper residues.

To mask the connectors, effectively, I'm looking for tapes, curable
compounds, boots, etc - anything that will reliably mask my connectors
against the stripping agent during the 60 minutes or so of stripping
process.

TIA

Peter
