Excluding the components procurement, 2 weeks is reasonable for normal, 1
week for urgent ones.

Subject: [TN] Leadtime
Hi Technet,
My question for today is about logistics, and I apologize for those who
think that's not technical enough ;->
What do you consider a normal leadtime for a small batch of
average-technology boards (let's say 100 boards with 400 parts each) to
be processed through SMT, through-hole assembly and flying probe testing
?
Where I work this takes 4 weeks as a standard (a little faster when
it's really urgent) starting from the moment the workorder is released
to production. I'm wondering how this compares to others that are doing
subcontracting-work. Do you consider the 4 weeks competative ?
