We are having a difference of opinion as far as repairing missing SMT pads
and damaged traces. I know IPC has a spec and a lot of companies do pcb
repair, but I get the argument that our customers don't allow it (not sure
they were ever ask). I trying to find out what other companies are doing and
how this is relayed to the customers. Also has anyone having boards
repaired, ever had reliability issues because of the repairs made. We are a
CM.
