Paper is NOT a good idea, at all. It is hygroscopic, probably bleached
with chlorine, probably loaded with sulfur, probably loaded with ionic
salts, including alum which can decompose into sulfuric acid. At the
very best, it can do no good: at the very worst, it would be catastrophic.
