Not that I know of!  You could ask you solder supplier for the elemental
analysis of the solder they supply for the HASL process, if that is the type
of boards you are talking about.  But I doubt it will be one of the elements
normally tested for.

Hi All,
Seems to be my month for receiving unusual certification requests from our
bare board customers.

Yesterday, a customer asked us to certify that our boards (or is it our
processes?) are "mercury free".

Before I start sifting through MSDS's, is anyone aware of any PCB materials
(FR4), chemistries or processes that typically contain mercury?

Are there any good info sources out there regarding mercury & PC fab?
