Jack:
                Use aluminum foil to cover all parts, the void so that flux
does not drip on the floor.and replace it as often as you want to. It keeps
parts under the foil clean. If the accumulation is quite a bit, cut a hole
in the foil and place a pan under the hole in the lowest point of the foil.
It is easy and it works. You may want to line the pan with the same foil for
easy cleaning.
