Didn't the IPC recently offer an HTML or text only choice for TechNet? I have a "fast" corporate connection and all my TechNet e-mail comes in test only.

Maybe I'm thinking of a different organization.

John,

I'm afraid I must disagree, HTML e-mails are a huge nuisance to those with slow internet connections. To get an idea of what people see when they set their mail to "text only", right click on any random web page and select "view source". Now try to read the content of the web page. 3/4 of what you see is just the code to format font, font size, font color, spacing, etc. At work, where I have a fast connection and where I monitor Technet, I allow HTML e-mails. At home, I only allow "text only" email and promptly delete any HTML e-mail because I don't have "too much time on my hands".

You guys either;
-have too much time on your hands
-worry too much
-are the types that weave in and out of traffic during rush hour to end up
at work a few minutes faster than the guy who just stayed in one lane
-see significantly more junk mail than I do hence I don't understand the
whole point of this thread
-are so important that you should have other people reading your mail and
worrying about this

What I do hate when reading a digest form of a list is the people who don't
strip out the previous message and footers so that you have to scroll
endlessly to get through the messages.

:o)
