Another long shot...

We have about 1500 pcs total of an SMT diode that is packaged in 8mm tape.
The problem is that it is in cut strips of 500 pcs, 500 pcs, 250 pcs and 250
pcs.  This of course presents problems when trying to use the entire
quantity for SMT assembly on a pick and place machine.  (lack of leader
strips, excess part loss and feeder changeover, etc.)

I'm aware of SMT tape splicing equipment (ahhh, to have all the toys back
from "previous life" jobs....) but I don't know of anyone who might offer
this as a service.  It's really just 4 strips that I need spliced together,
not too big a job, but it would make a BIG difference at assembly.

If anyone can point me towards a solution for this, I would really
appreciate it!
