Greetings,

Can you tensile test each wire individually, or are you dealing with a
configuration like a twisted pair?  If you can test each wire than crimp
individually or together to match the drawing, or what works best in the
contact, and test both wires separately.  If not than I think your customer
should provide a test procedure.

Buenos días,

In a class 3 product, we have to crimp two wires into a single contact. The
doubt we have is how to perform the tensile strength test. Although we have
not found this situation in a standard, we consider as more reasonable to
crimp separately each wire into the contact used and to test them (our
customer has the same doubt) What do you think about that?
