Thanks David, we are trying for another automotive qulification, and so the inquiry.
Speaking of acronyms, I recommend babylon.com. I have a glossary published there, PCB briefs, for which I get a free program usage.
Any acronyms someone would think appropriate there, I would like to add. These below are sure to make the list.
AIAG has what is needed for Automotive qualifications, but not everything online, as far as I know

Peter,

Larry probably is an automotive industry supplier. Automotive suppliers
here in the US work to a superset of ISO-9000 called QS-9000. QS-9000 is
distributed by the Automotive Industry Action Group [AIAG] [www.aiag.org].
Like any self-respecting legislative organization, they need to publish
acronyms. Amoung the more important ones are:
* Advanced Product Quality Planning [APQP]: A quality plan content
definition
* Production Part Approval Process [PPAP]: An audit process for qualifying
third-party suppliers.

These and other AIAG products are well thoughout documents that could help
many companies tighten process documentation. Next week we'll do QSA and
MSA.

Dave Fish
