Hello all,

I am looking to find what others are doing with respect to tools used to
install ty-wraps. These tools enable the user to tighten a ty-wrap then cuts
off the excess portion of the wrap. The tension of the tightness is a
function of the operator to adjust the tool so that the wrap cannot slide
back and forth when tightened but not so tight to cause noticeable
indentation or distortion of the wire bundle.

In my opinion this is operator controlled and a pre-set controlled tightness
value cannot be assigned for this process. If some pre-set value were to be
established, then calibrated ty-wrap tools would be needed. I do no think
that these tools can be "calibrated" per se.

Does anyone have experience with the controlled use of these tools for
tightening ty-wraps?

Any and all responses are appreciated. Thanks.
