Hi, Neil,

Power up an uncoated board and apply fine drops of distilled water or place
the board in a humid atmosphere. Wait for a few minutes and then examine
the board under a X20 or X40 magnifier. If using water spray, mask off any
high-voltage areas first, though, or apply water very selectively.

If at first you don't see anything, leave put the board back in the humid
atmosphere for a bit longer.

Are you using no-clean fluxes and coating the boards? If not, what
processes / materials are you using? Are you measuring board cleanliness
and what level are you working to?

way to make them grow so I can confirm it?
