To further the discussion about 35N, I was at a place where we were running
some .018" thick teflon RF boards. The process involved placing the built
boards (very carefully) into their respective chassis assemblies, screwing
them down, and running the entire assembly through an IR oven at an unreal
high temp to overcome the heatsinking of the aluminum chassis. I bought
some FR4 and had it cut into sheets of around 7"x7" and a silhouette of the
boards with negative radii at the corners to ease removal after reflow.
This worked great except the FR4 would warp after two or three runs. I then
bought some 35N and repeated the process. This worked tons better due to
the lower z-expansion and higher Tg of the material. I bought 4 or 5 3'x6'
sheets and, boy, was it expensive!!!! I do remember the machine shop that
did the cutting telling me that the material was destroying their bits :)
