I use a download program called Camtastic2000! It's a bit heavy on computer
overhead, but has all kinds of useful features - individual layer
stack-ups, copper area calculator, feature and point-to-point dimension
measurement and many others.

Go to:

http://www.camtastic.com/en/downloads/sfiles.asp

and select "Download Viewer (5MB)" and the bottom of the page

Hello,

I am looking for a good viewer for GERBER files.  I do not need to make any
changes, just to view the files and possibly printout sections....
Hopefully, there are s/w packages out there that I can download on a trial
basis.  Inputs appreciated.   thanks
