I would say -- better ask your customer what he means by that comment and what the intent is.

The customer print for a PCB requires the following for markings on the
product:  "No vendor logo or identification markings permitted on board".

Is there a specification as to whether the Electrical Test Stamp falls into
this catagory?  Is the Test Stamp considered an 'identification marking' or
is it considered part of the tesing process?
