Werner,

If you want a career change you can come shovel my driveway for me.  As a
QA/ISO guy I have to make Intelligent people do stupid meaningless tasks all
day.  I'm actually rather good at it.  While I don't actually have a
documented procedure for the "Removal of crystalized percipitants from a
residental access, way, or path"  I'm sure I could whip one up.  Then the
only lead free you'd need to worry about is the shovel--which is thick
plastic. (Also bad for the environment)

I have no real value adding thoughts to justify L-F as a process improvement
in Raw Fab or Assembly.  I see it like ISO.  Its a Marketing point.
Management doesn't want it so much as they just want what it represents.

(I'm sorry, I'm being far too non-technical. I should probably go home and
rake my roof.)
