Hi Technetters,
what's the difference between UL 94 V-0 and IEC 60707?
In the standard IEC 61010-1:2001 I read the following:
"
14.8 Printed circuit boards
Printed circuit boards shall be made of material with flammability
classification of FV-1 of IEC 60707 or better.
...
"
Is this mentioned classification similar to UL 94 V-0?
Normally pcb manufacturers specify only UL... Should I specify the IEC...
too, or isn't that necessary?
Regards
Klaus
