Lots of good advice already, but if you may want to keep bare boards for a
long time (whatever that may mean) use OSP as your surface finish, and if
you have any concerns over solderability, either send them back to your
supplier to rework (a simple pass back through the OSP process) or set up
your own OSP line to rework boards. NONE of the other finishes are as simple
or successful to rework. Just don't make the mistake of assembling side 1
and then waiting 3 days to do side 2 - you wouldn't anyway, would you, if
you run JIT, as you would only run them if you can finish the assembly in 3
hours!

Subject: [TN] Shelf life of PWB

What is the shelf live of a PWB. After how long can I expect to have
solderability problem?

Thanks!
