Hello everyone,

I seek a recommendation on which would be the best temperature profile for
testing a PCA that operates in the range of -30deg to +70deg, mounted in and
enclosed box on the power pole. The PCA use environment is in an area that
will see hotter summer temperatures with winter/summer extremes. The product
is manufactured as per the IPC-A-610C Class 2 requirements with both SMD and
TH components.
The questions I seek an answer are:
1. What is the best temp. cycling test range, as we will only want to test
the solder joints?
2. How many cycles can we perform without affecting the solder joints
reliability?
Thanks in advance.

Kind regards, Iulian
