Bob,
Can I say, Immersion Tin is refer to the old term (gray in appearance)
while Immersion White Tin is refer to the new Tin appearance.
What is the adv and disadv?
Just curious, in market, which is commonly use and will the PCB fabrication
house mix up the Immersion Tin and the Immersion White Tin.

Adekine,
Not really. Everyone uses the term Immersion White Tin to indicate that it
is different from the older, 1950s-1960s gray tins. The original immersion
tins were gray in appearance because they were very porous, easily
oxidized, and difficult to solder. The newer tins deposit a dense white
coating that has a better shelf life and is easy to solder.
