Mike,
I was told by the manufacturer of paralyne that you will need a temp of 900
degrees f to remove paralyne. Not a good option. Plasma or bead blast will
do the job.

Hello fellow Technetters:

Anyone have any experience removing  paralyne (paraxylene) coated BGAs and
uBGAs with conventional air vac DRS 24 type hot air equipment - I tried
conventional reflow profiles and it was very unsuccessful.
