The change in copper weight may add more thermal mass to your board depending on the design. This combined with the layout of the circuitry and location of the components, it may affect the profile needed to ensure a reliable solder joint.

Subject: [TN] SMD Resistor Packs
I am using a quad smd resistor and capacitor pack in a current design.
The design uses 1 ounce copper.
The components are reflowed.
Are there any problems in solderability using these packages on a 2 or 3
ounce copper pcb?
Regards
Justin Fenwick
